If you experience an issue or have a suggestion, please contact:
jockhuang@gmail.comDo I need an account to use Jotly?
No. Jotly stores its working library on your device and its core note-taking features work without an account or network connection.
Can I use iCloud and Google Drive together?
Yes. They are independent, optional sync providers and can be enabled separately or at the same time from Settings. Turning either provider off does not remove your local notes.
What does Google Drive sync create?
Jotly stores note copies as ordinary Google Docs in your Google Drive. App-specific metadata used for organisation and sync is stored privately in Google Drive’s app data area.
What should I do if Google sign-in or sync fails?
Confirm that the device is online, that you are signing in to the intended Google account and that Jotly still has the requested Drive and Docs permissions. Then open Settings and choose Sync Now.
How are sync conflicts handled?
If the same note changes locally and remotely, Jotly preserves the conflict and lets you keep the local version, keep the remote version or keep both.
How do I report a bug?
Email a description of the issue, the steps that caused it, your device model and operating system version. Screenshots are helpful when they do not contain private note content.
